I wasn’t familiar of this 89 year old stop motion, clay animator until now. Thanks to Google for giving such a tribute for Arthur “Art” Clokey.

I didn’t mind it at first. What the hell is claymation doing in Google. Who the hell is Art Clokey?

Okay.

He just died last January and I have no idea how famous he was. For art’s sake, I am going to add him on my list and will be googling for more about him later.

One comment from YouTube said that his biological mother was a  whore and a piece of shit. I don’t care, he’s the father of claymation! I’m sure it never survived without him.

Here’s a video about his 56-year old film experiment called Gumbasia. I consider it better than today’s claymation and is definitely 100% appropriate  for children’s viewing.

I’ll be seeing more of his work from now on.
